2
Thank you for participating in EKU's inaugural Ask You initiative, a Retention and Graduation collaboration with University Housing.
3
The Ask You campaign follows immediately the Ask Me campaign that happens the first two days of the semester.
4
The Ask You campaign will run from Wednesday, August 21 through Thursday, December 5, Monday through Thursday each week after the semester's first week.
5
You'll see tabs for each month at the bottom of this page. Visit once or many times. Go to one residence hall or all of them.
6
Each day's Ask You window is 3:00-5:30. Simply spend any 60-90 minutes within that window on that day in the Residence Hall you select.
7
To sign up, add your name to an open space and stop at the front desk in the lobby of the Residence Hall you select. If a day you want is already claimed, choose another day or Hall.
8
Ask You cards will be waiting for you; those and a smile will be all you'll need to reach out to students as they pass through the lobby.
9
Engage with students by making important first contacts that let individual students know they matter to us and that we want to see them succeed.
10
Ask students, "Can I ask you a question: How are you doing?" They'll tell you. Ask students, "What can I do to help?" They'll let you know.
11
Please add your contact information to the back of the card and invite students to follow up with you as necessary.
12
Remember that you always have the option of putting students in touch with the Residence Hall Coordinator, or with me at gill.hunter@eku.edu or 622-8010.
