Overview
6
As ManorCon cannot be held as usual this year, we are providing support for those who would have attended to play games together online over the weekend. This support consists of a Discord server, to allow players to chat with each other, and this spreadsheet, to assist with pre-arranging games.
7
In order to play games as part of Virtual ManorCon, you will need access to one or more existing online gaming platforms. Some well-known platforms are listed below.
8
Discord
9
Discord is a popular communications platform, originally designed to support groups playing in multiplayer online video games. It can be accessed using a browser: https://discord.com. Clients are available for Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. If you do not already have a Discord account, you will need to set one up; no payment is required.
10
Once you have a Discord account, you can access our server via this link: https://discord.gg/CwcSKteR9A
11
You can simply log on to our Discord server over the weekend, talk to other players there, and arrange games. Alternatively, you can try to pre-arrange games using this spreadsheet.
12
On Discord, ManorCon Committee members have names that will appear in red, should you need to ask a Committee member for anything.
13
IMPORTANT: To gain the full benefit of Discord, you will need to have a headset, or some combination of speakers/headphones and a microphone. It is a good idea to test your setup in advance!

23
Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia use 3d environments to simulate the experience of being at a table; because of this, and because they generally do not enforce the rules, they require some experience to use easily.
24
The other platforms provide a game-specific Web page and generally enforce the rules; this can make games play a lot faster.
