The sudy shall include (1) a survey of possible locations for the child care center across all State-owned or State-leased buildings; (2) an estimate of operating costs, taking into consideration the regional market rate for child care and household income; (3) the ages of eligible enrollees and duration of slots; and (4) whether preference is given to State employees of the facility is open to the public. On or before January 15, 2024, the Commissioner of Buildings and General Services shall submit a repor on the study to the House Committees on Human Services and on Corrections and Institutions and the Senate Committees on Health and Welfare and on Institutions.
