16/05/2021 01:54@allllthebooksCharlottelovestoread#RomBkLove Low Heat: I’m more of a high heat reader but I sometimes read low heat in YA or when exploring specific representation. Recs: Miracles and Menorahs (Agdern), Knit One, Girl Two (Glassman), Boyfriend Material (Hall), and You Should See Me in a Crown (Johnson) RT @anacoqui: #RomBkLove 2021 Day 15: Low Heat Romance What are your favorite inclusive low heat romances? 15/05/2021 22:30@LegallyHEAMarieI'm caught up! The Lovestruck books by Rachel Schurig is one of my fave series where anything steamy is rare & happens off page = my def. of low heat. The MC is a Mexican American grad student in the UK who meets a charming British actor on the verge of blowing up. #RomBkLove RT @anacoqui: #RomBkLove 2021 Day 15: Low Heat Romance What are your favorite inclusive low heat romances? 15/05/2021 19:57@LegallyHEAMarie#RomBkLove - Don't have much to share on this one because I haven't read many but really liked/❤️some well known (Kylie Scott's, SC Stephensons, the YA bk "When It's Real"). I've a lot on the TBR; def. the allure of looking into a world I have no desire to otherwise be a part of. 15/05/2021 19:38@evascalzoEva Scalzo 🇵🇷I still love them, though given the time period they pubbed in, they weren’t inclusive. Harlequin does a better job now. I think Priscilla Oliveras’s Matched to Perfection was low heat, and a great example of how rich the love story can be even without an open door. #RomBkLove

15/05/2021 19:38@evascalzoEva Scalzo 🇵🇷#RomBkLove 2021 Day 15: Low Heat Romance I don’t read romance based on heat-level if that makes sense. I know some authors who will always bring it, and then some who shut that door and either is fine by me. The books that cemented my love for the genre were vintage Harlequins. 15/05/2021 17:35@LegallyHEAMarie#RomBkLove - still perpetually behind! There are no individual powers that I can call out, but I'm always partial to witches. I can take or leave a vampire book, never entirely sure how I feel about shapeshifters. But give me all the witches. I know we think of fantasy romance as “fairy porn” to use a descriptor popular on TikTok for SJM et al, but love stories are & have been part of all kinds of fantasy books for a long time! “The Night Circus,” by Erin Morgenstern is a fave.

15/05/2021 17:09@foggywordsvera#RomBkLove Day 15: Low Heat Romance I don't seek low heat romances specifically, especially with MF couples, because I was burned by books not stating they were inspirationals (not my cup of tea). 15/05/2021 17:07@lelaballerinaLeilani#RomBkLove Day 15 cont’d “Play It Again” by Aidan Wayne is m/m contemporary with a homoromantic & asexual lead! “Knit One, Girl Two” by Shira Glassman is the fluffiest, softest w/w story about Jewish women falling in love & doing crafts. Also I’d argue Fantasy!
