The purpose of the Family, Youth and Community Engagement Department is to build capacity in schools, families and youth so that authentic partnerships can be formed and leadership capacity is developed.
We provide opportunities that are accessible to all and also direct our efforts to ensure those that historically do not experience opportunities get strategic support.
We support FACE Action Teams in schools, Community Schools and provide support to schools to ensure that parent/teacher conferences are culturally & linguistically responsive

In 2017-18 a new Advisory structure will be determined in order to maximize focus for this group
