Generational years are sourced from Strauss & Howe's model of generational theory.

FWIW - Gen Z is likely to be a transitional and temporary generation, with the first half of them eventually being understood to be Millennials (born up to 2004) and the latter half of them being a completely new generation, which has yet to be named.

The "18 and Unders" were 16 and under in 2021. Their numbers will continue to grow until about 2027, plus or minus a couple years, when a new generation starts to be born (similar, most likely, to the Boomer archetype). The "18 and Unders" generation may not get its name for another 10 years or so, until they have been in young adulthood for for 7-10 years.

Neil Howe recently stated 2006 as the start date for the After-Millennials, making 2005 the last year for Millennials. I need to recalculate these numbers but they're still close.
