PURPOSE: To confirm that the horse demonstrates correct basics, and having achieved the thrust required in First Level, now accepts more weight on the hindquarters (collection); moves with an uphill tendency, especially in the medium gaits; and is reliably on the bit. A greater degree of straightness, bending, suppleness, throughness, balance and self-carriage is required than at First Level

Very attractive pair. Chestnuts with chrome (mares especially) are my favorites and this horse does not disappoint! Potential for improved scores as horse develops increased engagement and collection. Work to increase power and thrust in medium gaits. Horse has some good uphill balance but lacks the engagement to show the cadence required. Be careful to keep horse's correct position in lateral work- remember there is bend and angle and, in travers, horse's front end must be straight on the rail and not pushing onto outside front. Best of luck with this special horse. ***video quality is not the best and movements at the A end of the arena are difficult to see. Zoom woul be helpful***
