3/1/2017Conditional Grant Program$6,000 per yearTo qualify for the Conditional Grant Program, you must be economically disadvantaged, and you must also:
be a Texas resident eligible to work in the U.S.,
have a minimum high school grade point average of 3.00 on a four-point scale, or
a minimum score of 900 on the SAT or
a minimum score of 21 on the ACT,
plan to attend an accredited four-year Texas public or private college or university as a full-time student,
declare an intent to seek a four-year degree in civil engineering or a department approved operational business discipline,
agree to work for TxDOT for two years immediately following graduation, and
not be more than 30 days delinquent in providing child support under a court order or written repayment plan.

3/1/2017Project Yellow Light Billboard Contest$2,000High school juniors and seniors who will complete their high school graduation requirements by July 2017 or 2018 and who intend to attend a U.S. accredited college or university beginning in the fall of 2017 or 2018

3/3/2017Ford Dreams Scholarship$2,000 (multiple winners)Seniors who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent; must have scored 20 or higher on the ACT test, or 1050 or higher on the SAT; enroll full-time in an accredited college or university.

3/3/2017Tzuchi Scholarshipmultiple $1,000 winnersApplicant demonstrates financial need for college tuition and related expenses.
Applicant is a U.S. high school graduating senior or equivalent.
Applicant has a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Applicant will enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the academic year 2017-2018.

3/3/2017Shell ScholarshipsIn each program, Shell will sponsor up to 20 one-year awards of $2,500 for selected graduating high school seniors enrolling in engineering or geosciences at universities identified by Shell. Upon successful completion of first year studies and other criteria established by Shell, the recipient may be eligible to apply to receive a four-year renewable award of $5,000 annually.Open to high school seniors who have an interest in the energy industry and an aptitude in math and science.

3/8/2017The Dream ScholarshipThe National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $12,500 for an associate’s degree and $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree, at one of our Partner CollegesHave graduated or will graduate from high school by the end of the 2016-2017 academic year with a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale;
Are not currently enrolled in college in the 2016-2017 academic year (except in a high school pre-college or dual enrollment program);
Intend to enroll full-time in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at one of TheDream.US Partner Colleges no later than the Spring of 2018;
Are eligible for in-state tuition at the Partner College you want to attend;
Came to the United States before reaching your 16th birthday;
Are DACA eligible OR have applied for or received DACA or TPS approval; and
Have significant unmet financial need.
(NOTE--they have a community college/college student application, too.)

3/10/2017PGA ScholarshipVariesIt is not required that applicants for the 2017 STPGA Foundation Scholarship Program be junior golfers. The applicant’s golfing ability will not be the determining factor in the evaluation process. Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance to meet educational expenses. The applicant’s high school cumulative grade point average MUST BE AT LEAST 2.5 ON a 4.0 GRADING SCALE or the student WILL NOT be considered eligible for the scholarship program.

Student planning to attend a Texas college or university by the Fall of 2017;

3/20/2017The Tree Center Scholarship$500Must currently be enrolled as a high school or college/university student within the United States.
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent).
Must be an American citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa.
Must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others (This could be a website, series of blogs, an app, fundraising event, etc.)
Must submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.
The essay, idea, or creation must be the applicant’s original work.

Student must graduate from a Houston-Area High School between January 1, 2017 and July 31, 2017.
A copy of the student’s high school transcripts reflecting a minimum GPA of 2.5 based on 4.0 grading system.
Include two (2) letters of recommendation as outlined on the application.
Copies of the students SAT or ACT tests scores.Student must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university of higher education for the current or subsequent school term. Trade or vocational schools enrollment does not qualify for this scholarship.
