Filter & Query in Sheets & Forms
http://www.edlisten.com/2014/10/using-filter-button-query-filter.html
Forms and spreadsheets are great for collecting data, but not necessarily for viewing. The Filter and Query functions are a great way to create displays of that data.

Customizing a Google Form by using your school logo or class site banner, change the font color and styles, etc...The new shuffle tool makes it so each student's form looks different but how do you keep a photo or video with the question that goes with it if shuffle is on? Find out.

These are add-ons I have written and published. These tools fill in some missing features in Google Apps, as well as some workflow organization.
put this in only if you need to fill spots. Or I can do it just on gClassFolders

It's a great way to elevate the conversation about copyright, citing sources, and finding media for research, without leaving the doc.

My Maps lets you and your students create collaborative maps. These maps can contain multiple layers so you can compare examine over time or compare variables by turning layers on and off. You can easily change the base map over which your data is displayed. Data can be added to maps one placemark at a time or an entire set of data can be added all at once by linking a map to a spreadsheet containing the data. Placemarks can contain text, images and videos. This is a great way to display student projects that have a geographic connection.

read&write Google / https://dictation.io/
http://www.texthelp.com/north-america/readwriteforgoogle/
ReadWriteGoogle is a text to speech extension that will read aloud to students highlighting the word being spoken and the sentence.

dictation.io is an online voice dictation site that works on chromebooks. It works well if the user has reasonably good diction. It will not learn the users speech patterns like Dragon. But does work on chromebooks.

Students could use it to record their thoughts while reading text online, teachers could use it to demo a new online resource, tech integration specialists could use it to explain a variety of online tools. The lite version allows up to 10 minutes of recording and saves to your drive. In a Screencastify folder.
