Kynareth. For the rest of Cata I was an alt-a-holic and was playing through every class 50-60 and just couldn't find joy any further. Since I was so unsettled in any class I thought i'd play one that could DO IT ALL! I name my druid Kynawrath and since the revamp of the talent tree going into MoP I have loved Feral and have been maining druid since. here at the end of legion I have my feral and resto artifact at 80 and guardia and boomy at 75. can't stop wont stop this druid train ever.

Much later when I came back to wow I realized that I didn't like just DPSing or Just Healing and I wanted options when I was playing. I started playing 2-3 classes but as I got into raiding that became impossible to keep up and still have fun. So I went back to my Druid who I had left at lvl 43 and quickly capped him. Basically I play druid because I need to be able to play what roll I'm currently in the mood for and it was much better than lvling and maintaining multiple classes. Did this suck and become insanely annoying in legion? Yes, but it still is better than playing 3-4 classes. And you know I still like being a cat, and a bear, and a weird bird thing, but not a tree anymore :(

He was swapping out of bear into cat whenever the other tank had the boss, and he was doing pretty good damage. The versatility really blew me away, and the different forms always seemed so cool.

Now, i am a successful mythic raider after starting in vanilla when i was around ten years old. Around that time, a friend of my older brother also played a druid, and i remember watching him raid in blackwing lair, and i always get a good laugh thinking abput the times he got yelled at for coming into raid as a healer, only to swap into boomkin form during the boss fights. Next, my druid was my first character when i came back from a break from the game during mists of pandaria, where i found my roots as a healer. These days, my druid is one of my favorote characters in his fantastic slutmog.

So i made a druid. I tried feral first and ended up in boomie for awhile before i fell inlove with resto druids. Ive been a resto druid since then and I honestly love it so much! Ive learned so much the past year and ive really gotten into it, i just love it.

I mean, when you play Druid, you have to see in the future, you have to know when your raidmates are going to take damages while with other classes, you just have to wait for their hps to drop and just press buttons. I know most people hated it, but I simply loved the concept of a cycle which you dont influence but rather react to. It made you have your own minigame within every combat and it was amazing. The ability to switch between animal forms is so unique compared to every class and it makes Druids just wayyyy more interesting to play than every other class. Its amazing being able to have every role at your disposal and every single spec is completely unique and fun to play. Also, I just really love being a giant chicken and riding around on a gob trike. Overall. I wouldn’t play any other class than Druid.

As such, druid is the best class in the entire game in my opinion, I can main boomkin, and with my boomkin gear fill the role pretty decently as a pinch healer by switching to resto spec. Then all I need to do is gather a few niche pieces of gear necessary to fill in as a tank or melee dps when needed with guardian and feral. Druid is the only class in the entire game that can fill all four roles necessary and on an as needed basis for a successful raid team. To top it off, and it only adds to the fun of playing druid the amazing raid utility that comes with the class, from playing boomkin or resto being able to innervate an oom healer, or using a properly timed and well placed typhoon/solar beam to stop a lot of casts from getting off. To using stampeding roar so that the whole team can move to the next boss just a little bit faster. With all of these features, plus the immense amount of lore surrounding druids, who wouldn't want to main one?

Actually i started playing World of Warcraft in Warlords of Draenor – the first class i chose was a monk. Playing monk was really fun, i loved how the windwalker design was, i struggled on things like the storm, earth and fire management, which made me wanna improve even further – and with the soul capacitor as a trinket and the micro management of this. Back then the first time i really came in contact with druids was, when i was viewing the logs about if there are ways to improve for me as a player (as a windwalker monk) – seeing how guardian druids can do 400k dps on speed kills on fel reaver made me really looking into them and made me really wanna go guardian druid. So i created a druid and tried it – obviously i couldnt reach those numbers with a boosted druid without any gear, but the gameplay around „Heart of the Wild“ really made my heart jump. In that time, around the pre-patch of legion i also joined the first time mythic raiding, and in my guild we had leaving both tanks due to running out of steam. Since the windwalker changes (and the removal of the best trinket in the game) „killed“ the fun i had with my windwalker – and the announcement of the best BAER form in the game (balance of power BAER in blue), i decided to go BAER for legion. This is also the first time, where i joined the druid discord and i made some great friendships with a lot people in here. So – Legion: BAER – started to fell in love with catweaving -> they killed it / made BAER require more and more legendarys -> didnt have them, since i had legs / wrists as my first 2, and didnt went for more after that (legendary feral gloves where my third for catweaving) – then at the end of nighthold – after joining some other guild, we had 2 tanks leave same reason as before.. we got a few new tanks, one of them being bear. I do not think, that it is really „necessary“ to have 2 different tanks, also i dont think, that it is really „good“ to have 2 same tank classes. I do think, that if one tank struggles on certain mechanics, then the other would the same and that could be stressful. So i decided to go back on my monk. I’m still lurking around a lot in druid discord and for now have around 75k messages, even tho im not really playing druid that much anymore, but ye, that’s kinda about the reason, why i played druid and why i dont anymore. 😊 Have fun reading all of it :P See you, Schmu o/

The flexability of beeing able to perform any role really drew me to it. Also the huge amount of outside world quality of life (Flightform, stealth, selfheal, tanking spec for rares). I played an even split of Balance and Guardian during progression in Legion, beeing main Balance but always offering my guild to Tank if the necessarity arises. What mainly got me to play Druid in Legion was the difference between the playstyles during the Legion Prepatch. FoE, NB-ST, AoE with Shooting star all felt vastly different, bringing alot of diversity to your day to day raiding (RIP FoE having only meme potential). Lastly the fantasy of shapeshifting into different forms to enhance certain aspects of my abilities was always a cool design in my opinion.

I played a derpy hunter at the time, but discovering that these guys could /actually/ turn into animals blew my mind. I used /s to ask them about it, and they took a few minutes out of their day to show me their shapeshift forms. It was a revelation! It was like meeting someone for the first time, and /knowing/ they're the one for. Love at first bear!

"other" stuff while raiding, while not being benched.

I enjoy the whole druid aspect and I've always done so. To be so in touch with the moon, the nature etc. The whole world around the druid, is one big playground. To master the different forms is fantastic and feels amazing from a more RP PoV, too see your druid furiously swing it's paws and claws at targets, controlling nature magic to beam down enemies and through nature magic, heal the wounds of allies. I chose to play balance druid because of my ex-step brother playing it during his Ulduar progression in WoTLK. I liked seeing him as this owl-creature beaming his enemies. And at the same time, who doesn't want to be this laser firing chicken thing? My stepbrother at this time, was a huge inspiration for me and to play the class, I saw him play back then, makes sense to me. It's the class that brough me to WoW, and it's the class that will keep me in WoW.

On top of that you're able to cover all roles including ranged and melee. Plus you get to lord over people perks such as instant mount, instant faster swimming, instant flight and picking of herbs/ interacting with quest items whilst flying #dismountingisforplebs. Being a druid is all round magical and been my bae since Vanilla. We're just all round awesome!

Simple anwser honestly, 3 words: Highmountain Tauren Druid, and why HMT Druid, simple anwser my darling...Travel form.Ever since blizzard announced that HMT can be druids i was very excited to see what kind of forms will they give and oh my...I instantly fell in love with the Travel Form, like seriously a MOOSE, kudos for you blizzard really do, after that i have always wanted to play a druid and i leveled fro scracth to get the heritage armor and i have to say...Ah My Gawd...the journey was so good! It was so refreshin learning a new class+specs that i had never tried and honestly they were fun ( liked resto the most,have never tried healing with hots, super fun). Learned all the basics of the specs which i liked in the journey and am glad to be a druid player. (P.S Every time my HMT druid dances in travel form i clap my hands and see those moose legs go baby!) And have a nice evening/monring/afternoon.
