Plant seeds early. When ringing Garden Centres above ask about donations of potting mix alsoSee class 3 fair page WHAT TO GROW linkn for growing tips and tricks and other products we can make. Also, add to the 'list your plants here' tab with what you are going to grow/make.

Determine a growing schedulehow well are plants germinating, care of plants, growing advice, when to put outside, when to replant etc.

Source punnets + pots Try neighbourly.co.nz for donations of pots and punnets. Put notice in newsletter asking for old pots & Punnets

Source Plants - Write notice for newsletter/postersPut notice in school newsletter for seedling,indoor plants, cuttings, ornamentals etc. ask for them to please be labelled. Also need to include for donations of paper bags/boxes for sold plants.

Source Plants. Source potting mix. Please call around buisness to ask for donations of plants etc. Divide list between helpers. (Thank you cards - ask teacher to get the kids to make cards to thank all the businesses that have donated)These are buisnesses that have donated in the past - Trees for Canterbury, Oderings Barrington, Mitre 10 Beckenham, Mitre 10 ferrymead, Portstone - Ferry Rd, texture trees, Bunnings tower junction. DOC nursery motokarara. Approach any others you can think of also. Anything to do with hoticulture is welcome. lets come up with some good ideas! we are allowed produce as well. four seasons treecare in woolston may donate mulch

Meet at school from 3pm Friday to move plants, and 2023 plants dropped at the school garden around chicken coop area so near a hose. Then needed moving Friday to the stall site (between carpark and fort). Tim (caretaker) has a trolley, can also bring wheelbarrows
