Day MissionEscortHvHvZOklahoma StateParallel mission for each faction to spy on a separate scientist as the scientist travels to X amount of spots throughout campus. Each scientists will both travel to the same spots, but neither will intercept each other. The players are to track his movements and note the specific spots that he gives specific non-verbal clues. Those spots are going to be the spots that we place the objectives for the night mission. Each team will need to be as inconspicuous as possible. If the scientist becomes aware that someone is tracking him, he will attempt to elude them by running a short distance or going thru buildings. Once prompted, the scientist will actually approach the trackers and ask a series of questions asking what they are doing there. Based upon who gives the best cover story or plays it off the best is given a spy card and enemy faction bandana because the scientists trusts this guy and would hate to see this bandana fall into the "wrong hands". Zombies are also told about the scientists and are told that the scientist will give off the locations to the night mission. If a zombie is stunned, he must immediately get out of eyesight of the scientist to give counter play for the humans. This can be done in a normal HvZ setting, but will need to be adjusted. Our scientists were instructed to be very gullible and believe any story as long as it was creative. The players had a lot of fun with it and they were quick on their toes with responses when they were confronted. They picked up sticks and acted like trees. When one of the scientists asked a player what they were doing, he said "photosynthesis". Zombies were able to stalk them and it was a good day one mission because it forced the players out and forced them to move slowly. Very Successful

Night MissionScavenger HuntHvHvZOklahoma StateRace for same resources mission and spreads them out to increase chance of tags from zombies. The humans will be informed that the objectives for this mission are placed in the spots that the scientists went to earlier. Completion of the earlier mission will be extremely important to the success of this mission. The objectives will be duct taped boxes with a loose egg in each one. The duct tape has markings that are unable to be reproduced on the fly to disable tampering with. The egg on the box will ensure that the players must be careful with how they treat the box. Also makes humans walk some which will also give zombies an advantage. Boxes must be brought back to friendly base. Once they get there, mod/admin will verify that the egg isn't broken and a ledger will be kept. ***Bonus rewards for winning team. ***This mission we didn't tell them where the location of the objectives were at the mission briefing. Both teams had the opportunity to find out all of the location objectives for the day missions. If they didn't get it, then they had to try to find them. I feel that the mission went pretty well on a design standpoint. One of the eggs wasn't in the right spot which caused confusion, but that can be fixed with better communication. Generally Successful

Day MissionPoint to PointHvHvZOklahoma StateBoth human briefings start at their respective bases at 10:30. They are given the location of the first propaganda poster. They then have to go to the spot and rip down the poster. On the back has some letters filled in to a puzzle as well as the location of the next poster. After all 5 posters are found it will fully reveal the 5 songs listed above as well as tell each faction to go to the library fountain and that library lawn is a safe zone. Once they get to the fountain, they are informed that they will be competing in a talent show against the other faction and can choose from the 5 songs on the back of their poster. The second team to arrive will get to choose from the 4 remaining. Zombies will be told to come to the library fountain at this time and judge the show. At the next passing period, our show will start. Zombies and bystanders will choose the winner and the losing team’s scientist meeting location for the night mission will be revealed to the zombies.

The slowly revealed cypher is below:

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
I want it that way – Backstreet boys
Don’t Stop Believing - Journey
Living on a Prayer – Bon Jovi
Bye Bye Bye – N’sync
This was a really fun mission, but was very poorly executed on an admin part. The flyers went to the wrong places so they were ripping down their own flyers which made no sense. We eventually had to call the mission and just bring them to the karaoke spot. The karaoke part of the mission was awesome and everyone had a lot of fun. We ensured that it started when there was a lot of traffic and non players had a lot of fun judging the contest. Zombies were given awards for competing in it as well. Generally Successful

Day MissionBase DefenseHvHvZOklahoma StateZombie Briefing is 30 mins later than human one to let the humans prepare. Humans have received intelligence that the zombies are wanting to destroy their communication relays. Each faction will have communication relays that they will need to defend. They will need to hold their spots for 1 hour. Each faction has to hold 3 separate locations. Zombies have to grab the objective pieces and take them at least 100 feet in any direction. The original spots that the pieces are at will be marked on the ground with a non-movable marker and the moderators will have a 100 foot piece of string to where they can determine how much further they need to go. Humans are not allowed to interact with the objective pieces. If the zombies move the pieces closer to the 100 feet, the pieces will NOT be reset so that they can use attrition to achieve victory. Zombies are only able to walk if they hold the objective. For each point that each faction successfully holds, they get 1 revival. Zombies will receive better information in the night mission to make their mission easier for each communication relay they destroy.I think that this mission was well received. It can be changed to a standard HvZ game pretty easily. Just have humans hold a few separate points and the zombies need to do the same thing as described. The more points that the humans hold, the more rewards that they get. Play test the measuring device you will be using. Ours got tangled up pretty easily and ensure that the zombies know that they can only walk when they have a piece. There was confusion on our game. Very Successful

Night MissionPoint to PointHvHvZOklahoma StateEach human team will have a parallel mission to track down a injured Zombie needed for research. The zombie is seriously injured and his injuries sustained have sent a shockwave into all zombies to double their stun time. The zombies need to find him so that they can redistribute the nano bots and fix their stun timers. Once the zombies have found their objective, then their stun timer will go down Humans need to find him so that they can stop the zombies from reducing their stun timers back. 36 glow sticks are spread out along campus with 2 sets of 18 being a bread trail. The glow sticks are to be no more than 2 hundred yards from each other. They do not have to be in the open. Once they find one glow stick, they will need to circle out from that location to find the next one. They will be labeled 1-18 and they must find all 18 unless the glow stick is not in the proper place which the admin will determine and mission continues without as if it was found. Continue until they eventually reach the objective. They will be racing against the other team to find the objective. 6 completely immune moderators will be "blowguns". They will be given locations to hide in along the path of the glow sticks and try to tag humans with darts. Humans tagged by the snipers are frozen in place for 5 mins. Once a sniper is shot by a blaster, they are removed from play and they resume their job as moderators. Once they find their zombie and clear all the other zombies away from it, they have to escort the zombie back to their base, but the zombie can only walk since it is injured. The team who loses now has to go find Alex and determine why the fuck the zombies are not turning him since they believe that he holds the key to defeating them. The punishment for losing is having to do an additional mission with all the zombie pressure. The amount of information that the losing team is given on the location of their next objective scales with how long after the other team, they arrive. 5 mins after will be given a specific location, an hour will be given nothing. This mission takes a lot of careful planning to ensure success. Obviously it has to be dark to be able to see the glow sticks. Also the moderators need to have a map of the glow sticks to verify if a glow stick is not in the right spot and to simulate it being found and where. Make sure that they have to collect every glow stick to win so that they don't just run ahead and try to find the objective without the glow sticks. The issues that we had with this mission were not due to mission design. Generally Successful
