Sam Daniell (2001)Tynemouth RC - http://www.tynemouthrowingclub.org.uk/index.htm - I was there 2010-11, so slightly out of date, but I still know the key contacts (and I'm on some of their website pics...)TRC is a coastal rowing club and very welcoming to new members - it's really good fun, but not competitive, so if you want to improve and race lots, it's probably not the club for you.
4
Ian Williams (1986)Norwich Rowing ClubVery welcoming, huge range of ability and levels of commitment. Fantastic piece of river to row on. Head race end of Feb / beginning March.
5
Charlotte Clifton & Jonny MurrellsTyne united boat club, NewcastleYes! It's a new club and welcomes rowers of all abilities.
6
Emily Hall (2001)Leicester Rowing ClubVery welcoming, all levels and ages catered for, altho the senior squads are mainly nov/im3 level at the moment, just a mile of straight rowing on the Grand Union Canal in the centre of town, so excellent for learning to scull as you're never far from a bank ;)
7
Andy Jefferson (2009ish)Curlew Rowing Club (East London)Word class 2km multi lane regatta lake tucked away in East London. Good for novice-IM2 level sweep & sculling. Great place to visit if you want some multi lane practice
