Assessment Types and Descriptions/Expectations
39
TATeacher AssessmentTeacher is responsible for writing, administering and assessing the students in their classroom. Purpose of assessment: To drive instruction within the classroom and spot check the standards mastery at that point in time.
40
CFACommon Formative AssessmentPLC team either in building or across district is responsible for writing, administering and analysing the student results for their personal and collective classrooms. Purpose of assessment: To drive instruction and spot check building and classroom levels on student mastery of content. Needs to be aligned with Framework and be within the timeline.
41
CIACommon Interim AssessmentDistrict is responsible for writing the test that teachers administer and then teacher teams and district level analysis will be completed. Purpose of assessment: To check student progress to mastery on content, spiral and reflect past standards as well as current standards. Test aligns instruction with state goals and allows PLCs and individuals time to reflect on their students. It is also a means for students to demonstrate what they can do in regards to the expected content. Must be given with the small time window for A. B versions will be available for all, all year to be given at teacher discretion.
