July 2018: v0.8.4 out -- no new versions in 2 years. Despite version number, game still seems extremely early

17 months since a KS update; the spin-off prequel prologue whatever is at v0.7 on Steam, but I can't see this ever happening

This is kind of a weird one. On the one hand, they seem to have continued to raise money no problem. On the other hand, despite lots of progress and updates, they don't seem much closer to having a game.

May 2016: First game officially suspended development, second game development to start up in December 2016

Dev disappeared for 5 months, came back with reports of serious mental illness. "Turning a corner" Silence since. No content updates since ~December. Update: September 2015: No, really, I'm turning a corner. Update in comments 6 months later: No, really, I'm turning a corner.

Team ran out of money and sold to investors. In last two years, tiny progress made by two remaining developers, but no chance of becoming a full game

12+ months silence after releasing an "out of money" post, no updates to twitter or facebook

May 22: One dev was fired and sued main project leader, won. Project leader has not paid. Backers-only update 6 months later to clarify. Claims game still coming

May 2023: 7 years after being in the "home stretch", the project is still not released, but has a Steam page

No updates since Feb 2019. Summary: Divorce, death, rebooted game, no clue when they'll be done

Devs silent most of 2015. Then most of 2016. Every update just an apology. End of 2016 update shows up after 10 months of silence, promising that they'll do some work in 2017. A few updates in 2017 but I am seriouly skeptical. End of 2017 update: concept art and adding team members. No updates in 2018

I don't know what qualifies as released here, but they're on release 96 and the game seems fully playable and has been for years

Game released first two episodes of three, then decided VR games didn't make enough money, no plan to make third episode. Backers seem satisfied

Released delayed 6 years. Dec 29 announced final release May 2020. May 2020 announced developer was quitting and what's available is what's done. Comments seem to agree game is not near done.
