15 | For the first half hour or so, while people are still showing up and we wait for some late arrivals, we settle in, hang out, talk, catch up, welcome the new faces, possibly do an introduction round, and share interesting games we discovered or played recently. After that's over it's time for talks and game showcases. If you have a game/prototype you wanna show off or a talk you plan on giving and want it in the schedule, we got a submission form. There's no strict need to do so, but it helps. Spontaneous reveals during the event are fine too. After talks and showcases there's basically an open discussion round of all kinds of game related topics. What folks have been working on recently, industry happenings and big game releases, asking for game dev advice or talking about certain game design patterns, etc. When all is said and done or it gets late we usually go to a nearby bar or similar establishment for food and drinks. | May | May | May | May | May | May | May | May | May | - | |||||||
