CRT Faculty ePortfolio Stage 4 Grade Distribution Report (please read):
- Download this Excel spreadsheet to your computer.
- Note the tabs at the bottom of this spreadsheet.
- The second tab titled "Count (Rqd)" is required.

Instructions for Reporting Course Grade Comparisons

Count (Rqd) Tab (second tab below):

Count your course's letter grades and enter the number of As, Bs, etc. into the appropriate table cells. (No percentages).
Chunk the A+, A, A- letter grades into one count, etc. for the other grades, except C grades. The exception is C-. If you have no C-, then place a "0" in those cells. *Do NOT delete any row under any circumstances.*
Fill in the Non-Passing grade on the line at the bottom of the table.

If C- is Non-Passing Grade: Enter the number of C-s in the C- row. At the base of the table next to "Note," record the Non-Passing Grade as C- .

If C- is Passing Grade:
Combine the count for C+ and C and then, update the total in the C count row; Please fill in the C- grade row in the table (row 6). If it is zero, mark that. Please do not delete the row in the table.
At the base of the table next to "Note," record the Non-Passing Grade as D

Finally: Make separate screenshots of the completed table and the graph to upload into two separate boxes under Stage 4.

Optional Percentage Template: (third tab below)

Convert your Grade Distribution Count to Percentages: Using the grade distribution counts you provided in the previous sheet, convert each letter grade count to a percentage (count divided by total) (e.g, A=6 (letter count) divided by 42 (total) = .142; move the decimal place to the right 2 places and identify the percentage (no decimal places).

(In the table) Update the #% for each letter grade distribution (no decimal places)

Optional Passing and Non-Passing Grade Template: (fourth tab below)

Identify the Percentages for Passing Grades: Using the percentages you used in the "Optional Percentages" template, add the percentages for passing grades and put the overall percentage in row 3 of the table (Pre Redesign and Redesigned); e.g, If C- is non-passing add the percentages for A, B, and C

Identify the Percentages for Non-Passing Grades: Using the percentages you used in the "Optional Percentages" template, add the percentages for non-passing grades and put the overall percentage in row 4 of the table (Pre Redesign and Redesigned); e.g, If C- is non-passing add the percentages for C-, D, F, W, & WU
