There's no focus to have other than whatever is usefull to promote the project, also the frequency is depending on actualities .... And For the theme, is not only news.o.o but all the opensuse galaxy that need a big revamp and rebranding (see the hard task is it)

The detailed overviews of all the new releases were great. Keep those up they really sold openSUSE to me in the past. I would also like to see openSUSE being used in the real world on the news.

opensuse is open for new as well as power linux users, and the news shall reflect that. I'd be great if tuts (easy) and techreports (experts) are about equal. I really think the news should talk more about what's to come, like "we decided not to include KDE FW5 is 13.2 because..." and give detailed explanaition of current developments like "we updated systemd which gives you this and this benefits" or "see the new bluetooth-stack in action for syncing your smartphone music, with video".
