Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the health or hunger relief space providing essential services to people impacted by COVID-19.

The elderly and other high-risk populations
Low income residents experiencing short term financial crisis due to loss of work/missed work (laid off, quarantined, unable to work due to lack of child care, etc.)
Residents who are food insecure
Residents who have no medical insurance or are underinsured
Nonprofit healthcare workers in need of protective gear and equipment

Baltimore County

For nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic

Anne Arundel County, Maryland

Most vulnerable individuals, including seniors, homeless shelters, residential programs for people with disabilities and mental health needs, and food banks. Grant application with be released on the 30th or 31st of March.

The new fund will provide resources directly to charitable organizations supporting the residents of Staunton, Waynesboro, and the counties of Augusta, Highland, and Nelson

Loudoun and Northern Fauquier CountiesVirginia

- Expanding access to childcare for low-income families and services for out of school children and youth;
- Mitigating the impact of reduced wages and lost work for hourly and gig economy workers, and small business owners, especially for people of color who are disproportionately affected;
- Providing support for healthcare and direct service providers in addition to creating medical care access for seniors, marginalized communities, people without coverage, and other vulnerable groups;
- Addressing the unique needs of people experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness; and
- Filling gaps for nonprofits providing critical services while facing loss of revenue due to event cancellations; lack of volunteers to assist with providing services; lack of access to necessary supplies; and lack of equipment to comply with public health measures designed to slow the spread of COVID-19, including remote work and social distancing.

One hundred percent of contributions to this fund will be distributed to nonprofit organizations swiftly as needs arise.

Northern Virginia

The elderly and other high-risk populations who are experiencing a COVID-19 impact, whether they are living at home or in group settings
Low income families experiencing short term financial crises related to COVID-19
Residents who are food insecure
Residents who have no medical insurance or who are underinsured
Residents who lack access to sick days
Residents with limited English language proficiency
Neighbors who are self-quarantined without sufficient support from their families and friends
