in the process. Upon improvement, all neutral teritory adjacent to the
resource is claimed.

Grants Great Writer points to the capital when pillaging tile improvements, more if the tile contains a resource. May not pillage roads, but may use enemy roads.[UB] Ringfort - Replaces Walls. Contains a Great Work of Writing slot; when the slot is filled, grants +10 XP too newly trained units in its city. Carries over 10% of Food when a Citizen is born.

May not be built on Desert tiles, nor adjacent to each other. Yields +2 Food and +1 Culture. Yields an additional +1 Food when adjacent to a Forest tile. Yields +1 Culture for each adjacent mountain. Yields +1 Culture for each adjacent Natural Wonder (requires the Community Patch).

Great Works increase Religious Pressure in your cities. [UU] Devil's Own - Replaces Musketman. Trained faster based on foreign Religious Pressure, and starts with more experience based on the pressure of your majority Religion. Higher-level Devil's Own units grant combat strength to adjacent lower-level ones.[UB] Fraternal Lodge - Replaces Constabulary. In addition to the Constabulary's effects, it has a Great Work of Writing Slot and provides 15% of the city's Culture output as Great Writer Points.

While existing, 5% of the production generated in city is shared with other cities you control.

[UU] Fili - Replaces Great Writer. It summoned alongside Great Generals and when it produces a Great Work of Writing, provides Great Musician points.

Cities with a garrisson recieve a free cultural Specialist, depending on the Unit's level. [UU] Fenian - Replaces Rifleman. Gains Combat Strength based on the number of Defensive Buildings in nearby cities. [UB] Public House - Replaces Zoo. Yields no Happiness, but has a Great Work of Music slot, which grants Happiness when filled, and Great Musician Points if the city is working Wheat or White. Pubs may appear in cities of Civilizations that you are influencing culturally, yielding Happiness for both Civilizations, and a sum of Cultural and Tourism in your empire.

In addition to that, aircraft are produced 50% faster.[UU] Steam Packet - Unlike the Ironclad, which it replaces, it doesn't require coal, and can carry two aircraft. In addition to that, it can sell goods on board in a one-time trade mission to adjacent neighbours to gain gold and experience. [UB] Great Wheel - Unlike the Windmill which it replaces, it generates one production from mined resources such as Iron and Copper. It also boosts production from all sources, not just building construction, and has an extra slot for a engineer specialist.

Gain Culture from having units in the territory of allies in a war alongside you.[UU] Ulster Battalion - Replaces Great War Infantry. +40% Combat Strength against fortified units and gives this bonus to adjacent friendly units it starts adjacent to. Receive Culture when this unit is killed or promoted, more so when outside your borders.[UB] Masonic Lodge - Replaces Constabulary. +2 Faith. +2 Culture for every Merchant, Scientist, and Engineer specialist in this city.

Boosts defensive strength of units on the tile as well as the gold yield. Gains an additional culture with Architecture. Yields an additional +5 experience to new units trained in the city working the Castle. Upon a declaration of war against Scotland, each castle trains one melee unit.

When next to an enemy city, has a chance each turn of attracting 1 Citizen from that city. If the Shetland Bus then returns to a Shetlander city, that Citizen moves there.[UB] Broch - Replaces Granary. As well as the regular Granary abilities, when completed, the Broch also provides half the required Production towards a random other building buildable by the city.

If within 5 tiles of a defeat, may become a Barbarian and conduct prophecies against you...[UU] Gwassenas - Replaces Horseman. Can attack twice after a defeat. +20% attacking Strength against Melee Units if on Hills or Forest, increased from nearby Great People.

Improved aquatic resources yield +2 gold and +1 food.[UB] Dun - Replaces Barracks. Cheaper to build, and provides +7xp to newly trained units per adjacent water tile instead of the base +15xp. Grants a free naval unit when constructed in a conquered city.[UU] Birlinn - Replaces Catapult. Is a naval unit, though with the stats and promotions of the catapult. Has +2 movement points, and adjacent units receive no combat penalty while disembarking. Upgrades to the Galleass, though retains all siege unit promotions.

Units stationed on pillaged tiles provide their remaining yields to your nearest City.[UU] Redshanks - Replaces Crossbowman. Has a higher Defensive Strength and receives +10% ranged strength for each adjacent enemy unit. Begins with the Woodsman promotion.[UU] Buanadha - Replaces Musketman. Weaker when Defending, but ignores enemy zone of control and costs no movement to pillage. Pillages its occupied tile on defeat when outside friendly territory.
