55555Learning the new technology from different teachersI would have liked to see an example of a coaching meeting. Since that is not something that I do, it was not easy to complete or understand. These meet ups. none

45454Coaching Practice! Good to get feedback from others who are in the same role and have the same background to continue the coaching learning from a tech aspect.Maybe more of a focus of one type of tool. Multiple options for that type of tool (like VR was Google Cardboard, zSpace, Google Expeditions, etc) vs a bunch of options for several types/categories of tools. A little overwhelming to have so many.Getting others here from the district! Ways to help teachers/fellow tech integrationists/admin to value the standards and how tech isn't just about the tool.

55555The hands on time is great. The time to talk with our peers is important - especially when 4 tech directors get to adapt to their needs when it comes to coaching and planning. ;-)This was a great day - great info!
7
45444Getting the opportunity to see different tech options and software that is available and used by other teachers.Tim to speak with other teachers about what they use in their classrooms or have seen used in classrooms.Purchasing power within our district.
8
44455Time to actually talk through ideas and bounce ideas around about how to integrate cool technology into things we are already doing and/or thinking about doing. Continued advocacy for tech leadership and model technology teachers.

54455Great chances to collaborate and share ideas with others from area districts. Fun to get hands-on time with technology ideas.N/ANothing at the moment, but will keep you posted if that changes. Are there good ways to help find funding for technology ideas we want to implement in our districts? Grants?Thank you for hosting a great tech meet-up! Very useful and productive.

55555Anytime we get to learn about new stuff or collaborate together to come up with ideas.
I always feel so overwhelmed after coming to these. In my district I'm treated as a teacher first and a tech integrationist last, so my progress in that department feels rather lacking. I very much appreciate the knowledge I gain from coming to these meetings. I've yet to come to one and not left with some better understanding of my TI job or the tools that are out there. Keep up the great work!

55555Thank you PLAEA team! I love these days!

44254I enjoyed the afternoon breakout sessions. I think it was a good day. I had experience with most of what was here but that is inevitable when you have such a large group of tech people together at once. Continuous introduction to new tech toolsnone

55555the practice coaching was great! Hope you can do more of this; maybe setting up scenarios for us to work through

the sharing is wonderful! Wish we had a little more time just to talk shop at our tables.
Sending a follow-up recap of the day to all tech leaders in the AEA.Don't let your great tech hires escape! They are the best in the state.Wish even more could come. Can we use Swivl and Zoom to reach those that can't get here?gscholtens@webster-city.k12.ia.us

55555The workshopsI was perfectly comfortable with this morning in the coaching session but wonder how other people felt who aren't TLC coaches.Just new technology coming out to assist teachers in the classroom.Nothing.Thanks ladies, it was great! I always look forward to these meetings!

54455Sharing with the other tech coaches/integrationists to get new ideas; love hearing the smackdown ideas!!

I am really new at the tech integration side so I was really nervous about coming today and feeling really dumb!! I was able to learn a lot about tools I have heard about and felt comfortable asking questions and trying things.

Thank you for that!
None - I enjoyed today and look forward to the one in January!

I am not sure the last collaborative planning activity was as helpful for me as it might have been since I need to learn more about the tool and the curriculum areas where it could be used. Great to hear what others are thinking of doing with the green screen!
Nothing at this point. I feel comfortable knowing who to ask if questions arise!Nothing at this point.Nonenot at this point

44444I enjoyed learning about Google Cardboard and talking about ways in which our district could use virtual reality at all levels. more time. :( I found this one to be more meaningful than the first one based on the types of tools showcased and I really appreciated the morning focus on "coaching"amerchant@spencerschools.org
