Civil War - Plantations Built Prior to the Civil WarYThis is a subset of the plantation list from 1600's-1900's that includes only the plantations known to have been built prior to the start of the Civil War. Our goal is to research these locations to find out which were still in active operation in the decade prior to the Civil War.
