4/2/2015 19:01:35Roger Jackson3/30/2015HG5:15:00 PM7400strong southy winds, some high cloudsFantastic flight. Flew with Dennis,Mark and Sonny. Had to be patient at launch due to S wind. Lift everywhere. Gained 1000' flying in straight line to front ridge. Had to work to get down to LZ2 where it was a bumpy approach to an unusually windy landing area.Yes1:20:00WW U2 160

4/4/2015 10:26:58Sonny Compton3/30/2015PG6:19:00 PM6500'strong sswTook off in a strong cycle and began to push out immediately due to strong south winds. Gained 2000' flying in a straight line towards LZ2. Took me about 20 min to get upwind of the LZ. There was plenty of lift out over the valley and eventually had to work it down at sunset. I enjoyed the air with fellow club members Roger, Dennis, and Mark.Yes1:00:00Gin Carrera

8/19/2015 21:51:35Don Athon8/15/2015HG5:45:00 PM5500High clouds, breezyAnother great day at "the Rim". Combination of ridge lift and intermittent thermals (are their any other kind?) made maintaining 5000 + msl easy. Prevailing wind was a bit out of the north which provided some strong lift at the 'corner' north of launch. Way fun to power into then crank a downwind turn. Yes1:50:00WW Falcon 3
