Collected trot
6.56.5Quality of paces, halt, and transitions. Straightness. Contact and poll.neck pulled to the left and shoulder positioned in left flexion = horse drifting left until off centerline at x ( see A behind you) .. for higher scores begins to learn to hold collection and center lead without neck bend and with shoulders straight .. ie horse to be linearly straight. . additionally horse clearly bulges on left shoulder in the trot portion of c-line , haunches fell out thru the corner to H

Collected trot
428Regularity and quality of trot, uniform bend, collection, balance, fluency, crossing of legs.rider clearly riding with left shoulder and left seat bone HIGH and ABHEAD which is in the WAY of the correct shoulder rotation/flexion of the horse.. so the horse losses the bend or is unable to develop it . lacks flexion through ribcage/ poll as it runs into the riders left side and eventually become completely straight -no bend . remember ride a haunches in on the diagonal line......

proceed in collected trot
6.56.5Quality of halt and transitions. Throughness, fluency, straightness. Accuracy in number of diagonal steps.rider clearly leaned back and horse HIT the reins./ causes lifting neck and bracing ( see wide behind at halt and slightly above the bit as a result) riders shoulder and upper body dipping and twisting as they come into the transition . quiet upper body and immobility for the rider too can add elegance to this movement / additionally rider tips head and leans left in collapse over right rib cage while halted and baking / needs to use corner correctly after the RB to be more prepared for the MV EXT.

6MVExtended trot66Regularity, elasticity, balance, energy of hindquarters, overtrack. Lengthening of frame. Transition to extended trot.rier: clear collapse over right side =see loose left seat and loose left leg ( especially the left thigh is looser than the right. Horse loses balance over X ( that is when rider lost balance and was loose on left side.. left leg not aws strong or in position as well as the right)

Specific number of diagonal steps.not enough steps horse left leg inactive.. riders left leg swings too far and too much .. obviously not back enough and needs to be more in contact.. by the time you swing a leg that far and that much YOU ARE LATE with the aid) horse left leg is low and inactive ( this problem is often attributed to a riders slow weak inactive left leg) for the piaffe, horse needs to "sit" more, do more steps and be less forward... at this time it is clear that you are DEVELOPING piaffe but it is not balanced, confident

On the diagonal 9 flying changes of leg every 2nd stride

Collected canter
77Correctness, balance, fluency, uphill tendency, straightness. Quality of canter before and afterhorse is straight and steady .. rider leans way off to the left as that side is loose and unstable.. left leg is weak/ further forward and further off horses body than the right .. so in order to get a clean timely change to the left rider must dramatically lean left to swing that leg fast enough

On the diagonal 15 flying changes of leg every stride

Collected canter
428Correctness, balance, fluency, uphill tendency, straightness. Quality of canter before and afterhorse is obviously a trooper and knows his job.. predictably rider left leg too loose, too far off the horse so every change you miss is from left to right.. rider not centered and too much right seat bone and too much right leg ( left side out of position and weak)

Pirouette to the left
6212Collection, self-carriage, balance, size, flexion and bend. Correct number of strides (6-8). Quality of canter before and afterends up going sideways 2-3 steps BEFORE starting pirouette ( which was too large and ends up off center line) .. so you need to practise collecting on a STRAIGHT line and starting the pirouette off a STRAIGHT line ... some of this is rider leaning and some is practising starting pirouettes and being able to ride out of them whenever you want. this horse can do them and can engage ( carry weight) so you need to practise rider pivoting on her belly button rather than turning a horse sideways and horse falls out to a pirouette... while holding the haunches ( think haunches in but don't DO IT .. then ste over your core and pivot over your belly button while you turn the shoulders of the hor5se3 around keeping him UP and over his hind legs.... ) reverting to practising 1/2 NS 3/4 PIROUETTES WITH ATTENTION TO THE LINE APPROACH AND THROUGHNESS IS A GOOD EXERCISE

A steady start for this pair! This horse clearly knows his job and is adept at accommodating his rider. rider: needs to be chiropractically straight and level at the shoulder and seat bones. currently riding mostly on right leg and right seat bone., and needs more core strength and flexibility to maintain correct balance and weight in upper body. Most of the bend, straightness, accuracy problems with the horse appear to be connected with lack of left side aids. ride more correctly letter to letter ie the EXT gaits to begin promptly at the letter. missing the centerline or being off the centerline can lose a lot of points... on any given moment you can lose from .5 to 1 whole point depending on how inaccurate and for how long it goes on. this is a kindly talented horse and a s a tem you show a lot of harmony.. keep going!
