Note:
50
H is short for Horizontal and is about the lower rotator. V is short for Vertical and is about the upper rotator.
51
Due to aspect ratio, it is recommended to use more overlap for the longer side of sensor to get more homogeneous image quality.
52
53
* For MECHA rotator enter 0.1° to use all the available FOV and least number of shots. For manual rotator with detent intervals, first use 0.1° then change it to the closest interval available. Remember it is possible to double or tripple the interval by skipping one or two stops.
54
55
56
H Shooting Interval: When the shooting interval can't be achieved by the detent interval specified above, it will be highlighted in red. This can be ignored for MECHA when 0.1° is used, it will only change the overlap slightly.
57
58
59
Actual V Overlap: When the overlap is smaller than above specified value, it will be highlighted in red. For zenith and nadir shot, the overlap is smaller in some columns due to smaller angle of view along the shorter side of sensor. For manual rotator with vertical detent interval, optimal pitch angle for zenith overlap may not be calculated, user can try offset one detent interval toward the zenith by adding one interval to pitch angles other than zenith.
