Hey folks - this is our springtime benchmark.

I am spending January 2024 getting 20+ quotes for a 3 bedroom, 2-story house in Malden, MA.

This benchmark is more scientific than our fall pilot. Every single quote is going to be an actual quote.
*Fall benchmark was a mix of quotes + estimates (easy b/c only 2 br in a triple decker)

The equipment is a 3 ton ducted heat pump + air handler in the attic, using existing ductwork to cover the 1st and 2nd floors. Plus, 2 mini-splits covering the sunroom and finished basement room.

This house is roughly ~2,000 sq ft total, including the finished basement.
