The tooth on this cigar is crazy. Like the feeling of sandpaper in my hand. Perfect box press. A real eye catcher. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)97.5"Some truly bold aromas coming from the wrapper and they really pop when I smell the foot of the cigar. They include dark earthy notes, chocolate, espresso and lots of leather. I can already tell this cigar is going to be killer. The type of cigar I normally smoke. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)97.5MediumMedium-Full"Clipped the cap and away we go! Toasted the foot and had a blast of flavors hit my palate. They included black pepper, dark chocolate, and nice dark coffee. Definitely woke me up from my slumber since I decided to review this early in the morning. These flavors stuck around more the first third. I had some issues getting the burn to stay even but the complexity more than made up for it. A nice strong start. Right in my wheelhouse. Really bold flavors that work for me thus far. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)95MediumMedium"Transitioning into the second third, the flavors became a little more tame. More leather and spice and less of the earthy notes. Very good smoke output with nice chewy leather. The spice reminded me of nutmeg and some slight cinnamon. I finally got the burn to correct itself. A truly enjoyable smoke so far. Perfect for a chilly autumn morning. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)97.5MediumMedium"Heading into the home stretch, the flavors and body start ramping up again. Less leather and much more of the earthiness and dark chocolate flavors. Strength is definitely medium to full. Just how I like it. A truly bold finish to a great smoking experience. I really didn't want it to end. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)100"Zero draw issues" -Kevin J. (maninblack77)90"Burn was solid once I got it corrected. But it took some work. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)95"Other than the burn issues, this was very well constructed. A great combination of tobaccos that created a very enjoyable experience. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)97.5"Bold flavors, medium to full in strength, this is what I typically look for in a cigar. The earthiness, leather, dark chocolate and spices really worked together in unison and it had enough transitions to keep me interested. Absolutely no issues!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)97.5"This cigar was a winner in all areas of construction. Most notably, however, was the performance after something caused by me. I accidentally dropped the cigar on my tile floor while walking to my smoking area and caused a huge crack in the wrapper. Thankfully the cigar held together wonderfully and never unraveled. In fact, the burn line never wavered and you would never know there was anything wrong. Really impressive!

The fuller, deeper flavors were perfect for me today and the appearance and performance were remarkable. I can see where some smokers may be put off a bit by the fullness of the flavor, but the apparent lack of significant nicotine power should make this a good choice for anyone looking to venture out of their comfort zone. 10/25/2021 23:32:04Estevan Z. TheRealBanzi)119290"This is a rustic looking, soft box pressed cigar. The oscuro wrapper is the color of dark chocolate. It is rolled tightly with invisible seams. It feels like a piece of fine grit sandpaper as you run a finger over its length. There is a elongated hole ,in the center of the body, from what looks like an imperfection in the wrapper leaf. The presentation is finished with a nicely applied double cap. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)95"I don't know if it is the color of the wrapper playing tricks on me but when I smell the body of the cigar I find myself thinking about sweet dense coco powder. Turning to the foot, I find freshly harvested mushrooms dusted with white pepper and corn stalk. Taking a few pre-light draws, after cutting the cap, I taste sponge cake covered in chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. I'm intoxicated and ready to light this one up. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)92.5MediumMedium-Full"The cigar opens with sharp espresso notes dusted with cinnamon. The sharpness doesn't last long. After a few minutes it smooths out and the cinnamon becomes the main note. When I push some smoke through my nose I am met with fiery fresh cracked black pepper. Much like the flavors on the palate, this too smooths out after a few minutes. As I reach the quarter pole, of the third, I find a building note of nutmeg. This combined with the cinnamon carry me to the end of the third. The smoke is coarse and rough while the finish is long and flavorful. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)92.5MediumMedium-Full"As I smoke on into the second, I get an essence of anise. This dances in and out throughout the third. When mixed with the baking spice, from the last third, the flavors just pop on the palate. Pushing some smoke through the nose and I am met with some great dark chocolate notes. As the third comes to there is a nice addition of French Oak. All of this makes for a incredible smoking experience. The mouth feel has smooth out and the finish has stayed nice and long." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)95MediumMedium-Full"The first two third have build to this. A mesmerizing mixture of flavors that makes me hope that it never ends. Anise, baking spice, French Oak, and the introduction of baker's chocolate makes for a mouthwatering combination. The retrohale adds deep dense cacao flavors that makes this a rich dense smoking experience. The mouth feel is dense and the finish goes on forever. It was a joy to smoke this cigar. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)95"The perfect amount of resistance from each puff creates copious amounts of smoke from start to finish. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)95"Near perfect burn helped make for a cool flavorful smoke on the palate. Straight from start to finish I never once thought of a touch up." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)95"Rolled near perfectly. From the bunching of the filler to the rolling of the binder and wrapper this cigar performed beautifully. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)95"This was one of the best cigar I have smoked this year. A perfect cigar to enjoy after a hearty meal with love ones. It would pair perfectly with any after dinner libation but I feel like it would best pair with a nice aged port. I will for sure be looking for a box of these and so should you." -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)97#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?#NAME?

10/28/2021 14:47:30Isaac M. The Nothing)119290"Nice soft pressing gives this cigar a slender profile. The seams are tight and veins flattened.
" -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
90"This cigar sports a very vegetal aroma; wet grass, damp forest, compost." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)92.5Medium-StrongFull"Good pepper blast to start off. Then the cigar quickly transitions into a savory, meaty flavor. There is an occasional taste of oak and hickory.
" -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
92.5Medium-StrongFull"The second part brings on a texture that reminds me of scorched marshmallows. Pepper notes tone down some, and the cigar is still left with a nicely grilled steak taste. Halfway through I start feeling the effects of nicotine.
" -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
92.5StrongFull"The finally of this cigar continues as it has been with grilled meats, and pepper returns with a little more punch to it. There appears another flavor in here that I want to call allspice which I hadn't noticed previously.
" -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
95"With a v-cut, the draw as about as good as could be." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)95"This cigar had zero issues in the burn category, and the smoke output was quite generous. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)95"I could find no qualms with the construction. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)95"What a great cigar. While there wasn't a whole lot in flavor transitions what I got was flavor growth, a maturity of the flavors. With meat being what I found most in the flavor, it's like the first part would be a choice cut, the second third a choice plus, and then finishing up with a very nicely aged prime cut of beef. I found this to be quite enjoyable and would not hesitate to recommend giving it a try.

10/28/2021 17:56:13John I. John I.)119295"Pretty hot. Really dark toro with what appears to be a soft box press. Silky smooth with a oily glossy sheen. " -John I. (John I.)90"Soft chocolatey notes with sharper fermented notes prominent at the foot. " -John I. (John I.)95MediumMedium"Begins with sharp peppery notes. Starts out with a pretty hefty amount of strength.
Twenty minutes in there is still some pepper with a nice bite. There are also some herbaceous notes opening. After a half hour this begins to display a really nice juicy sweetness. " -John I. (John I.)
95MediumMedium"Easing into the mid-third there's another transition into soft sweet leathery notes. Still packing a bit of a punch. This has been tremendously enjoyable so far.
Toward the end of this third it becomes more mineral in flavor. It's just a fistful of transitions. " -John I. (John I.)
92.5MediumMedium"Great smoke thus far. Really great construction. Flavor is shifting toward more of a full bodied experience with sharper mineral notes and dark charred earthy flavors.
FInishes with big meaty flavors. Definitely feeling a nicotine rush by the end of this smoke. It'll serve as a great excuse to grab a big slab of chocolate cake to counteract this beast. " -John I. (John I.)
97.5"Fantastic draw. Easy sipper. " -John I. (John I.)97.5"Easy and cool burning. Held a nice soft cone throughout and a crisp clean burn line. " -John I. (John I.)97.5"Just a really well made cigar. Great draw, great burn, super attractive wrapper. Couldn't be happier. " -John I. (John I.)95"Great cigar. Construction was impeccable. Great draw, burned slow and cool. Plus just really sexy.
Early flavors were more in my wheelhouse than the finale, with all sort of leather, pepper, earth and mineral notes on display in frequent transitions. I'd love to give one of these a few months of rest to smooth things out a bit, but definitely would smoke a humidor full if I had them on hand. " -John I. (John I.)

ExcellentThe perfect amount of resistance from each puff creates copious amounts of smoke from start to finish. ExcellentNear perfect burn helped make for a cool flavorful smoke on the palate. Straight from start to finish I never once thought of a touch up.ExcellentRolled near perfectly. From the bunching of the filler to the rolling of the binder and wrapper this cigar performed beautifully. ExcellentThis was one of the best cigar I have smoked this year. A perfect cigar to enjoy after a hearty meal with love ones. It would pair perfectly with any after dinner libation but I feel like it would best pair with a nice aged port. I will for sure be looking for a box of these and so should you.97E.P. Very GoodThis cigar sports a very vegetal aroma; wet grass, damp forest, compost.GreatMedium-StrongFullGood pepper blast to start off. Then the cigar quickly transitions into a savory, meaty flavor. There is an occasional taste of oak and hickory.
GreatMedium-StrongFullThe second part brings on a texture that reminds me of scorched marshmallows. Pepper notes tone down some, and the cigar is still left with a nicely grilled steak taste. Halfway through I start feeling the effects of nicotine.
GreatStrongFullThe finally of this cigar continues as it has been with grilled meats, and pepper returns with a little more punch to it. There appears another flavor in here that I want to call allspice which I hadn't noticed previously.
ExcellentWith a v-cut, the draw as about as good as could be.ExcellentThis cigar had zero issues in the burn category, and the smoke output was quite generous. ExcellentI could find no qualms with the construction. ExcellentWhat a great cigar.

(John I.)1192ExcellentPretty hot. Really dark toro with what appears to be a soft box press. Silky smooth with a oily glossy sheen. Very GoodSoft chocolatey notes with sharper fermented notes prominent at the foot. ExcellentMediumMediumBegins with sharp peppery notes. Starts out with a pretty hefty amount of strength.
Twenty minutes in there is still some pepper with a nice bite. There are also some herbaceous notes opening. After a half hour this begins to display a really nice juicy sweetness.
ExcellentMediumMediumEasing into the mid-third there's another transition into soft sweet leathery notes. Still packing a bit of a punch. This has been tremendously enjoyable so far.
Toward the end of this third it becomes more mineral in flavor. It's just a fistful of transitions.
GreatMediumMediumGreat smoke thus far.
Close to perfectFantastic draw. Easy sipper. Close to PerfectEasy and cool burning. Held a nice soft cone throughout and a crisp clean burn line. Close to PerfectJust a really well made cigar. Great draw, great burn, super attractive wrapper. Couldn't be happier. ExcellentGreat cigar.
