Cross CountryAll are invited to participate with no tryouts or cuts. Every person will race in each race except for the District Championships.Conditioning starts at the start of school but official practices start August 27th. The season is over October 10th. OCJH TrackAll are invited to participate. Some events, such as sprints, have limited participation slots, but there are no tryouts or cuts. Preseason Conditioning starts in February of each year. The official season starts near the end of FebruaryPreseason conditioning is in the gym. Science Demo TeamApplications are available in late April of your 8th grade year and after the student council elections. Selection of students are based on three factors; overall GPA, Teacher evaluation, and questionaire responses.The science demo team is made up of 50 9th graders and we put on science assemblies at elementary schools throughout the state during the school year.Oak Canyon Junior High in rooms A154 and C131, Clear Creek Outdoor Camp, and various schools throughout the state of Utah.Talk to Mr. Panee or Mr. Hodges.
