Overall goal is to develop biomarkers and early disease markers to track subclinical heme malignancy development and relapse, secondary somatic mutations, especially for high risk germline heme malignancy syndromes from the peripheral blood to decrease need for invasive bone marrow aspirates or imaging to detect occult extramedullary disease. The field is heavily geared towards solid tumors and this is an unmet need for heme malignancies.
