34		NOTES SECTION											This Sheet is reference for a Game, where Hero characters have differing abilities. Every Hero has 8 Skills, each with a Level between 0 and 10. Against those, there are percentage boosts, which are recorded in the tabbed sheet 'Hero Lead' The Skill Levels are/will be input manually against each Skill number. THE LOOKUP NEEDS to input to H30, H31 and H32, the respective percentages from the 'Hero Lead' tab.

I have copied the formula from J30 and adapted where necessary and it works perfectly. Thanks so much to you and Alessandro!			♥ is just a rare sybmbol (possibly won't be there in strings naturally) to join values from two columns to use in vlookup. where do you get the error?		The error came when I copied the formula to my master sheet. This TEST sheet is copied out of that master file for the stackexchange post. I just cut out the first sheet tab where some of the source data is and put those in the NOTES to teh left here.		the 3rd part of the 1st vlookup parameter (doh!): C36 & "♥" & G36:G38, this G36:G38 must be blank in your master sheet, thus it cannot find Orange♥
