Is It Worth It for Me to Upgrade to a Disney World Annual Pass?
Reference Info on old TP Blog Post
If you are taking multiple trips within a year, this sheet will let you enter Number of Park Days and Ticket Types,
then enter some estimated costs & discounts and see if you will save more by upgrading to AP on your first trip.
If you are new to this sheet and a little befuddled by it, Click here OR on the How To Use This Sheet tab at the bottom of the window.
This sheet assumes that for multiple trips you buy tickets from a discounter at *current* best price each time.
It also assumes if upgrading to AP you buy the CURRENT HIGHEST DISCOUNTED tickets to upgrade with regardless of the ticket type selections you make.
You can only change things in RED cells.
You should choose the type of ticket you normally buy to get the most accurate total at the end. If you normally buy Base tickets when you visit, it will take a lot more park day tickets to make an upgrade worth it.
For Now: Assume all trips are 3 days or more to make lookups easier - tiered pricing on 1 day tickets is annoying.
If you choose a Memory Maker purchase option that cost will be counted once for EACH trip you enter below.
If you choose "No" in the Tables in Wonderland Box, the cost of TiW will NOT be included in the overall totals.
HOWEVER, You can still enter discount percentages in the Red Expense boxes since you will likely be using standard AP discounts. (Just remember those don't include adult beverages and adjust your "Percent Eligible" estimate as needed.)
The "OFF Site" totals include parking savings, while "ON Site" do not.
|Tickets Needed||AP Prices Updated, But tix prices = pricing prior to tier change. If bridging tix from before that date these tix savings should still be still valid.||Annual Pass Cost||AP Bridge Info Savings (Only)||PEOPLES OF THE WORLD|
Make sure someone before you did not leave any numbers in the "Tix Price Override" column or that will bork all the numbers for you.
Unless of course you would like to enter your own actual ticket costs, then make sure you enter the TOTAL cost for ALL of the tickets INCLUDING TAX that you bought for the NUMBER OF PEOPLE you entered in the "Tickets Needed" box on the top left.
