2Ensuring transparency and accountabilityCreate and share annual Swimming activity reports, budget summaries, and selection criteria for national and international events with members and parents through digital platformsGeneral assembly meetings are held yearly around Oct/ Nov. during which the annual report of the previous year are shared with members. During the General assembly the annual report of the previous year (selected athletes; development activities; international results; expenses) as well as the budget of the coming year, development criterias, calendar of events, are shared with members. Same meeting but adapted should also be presented to the entire community. Competition results are always shared with the entire community through the social media platforms and Whatsapp groupchats. 12Effective communication & collaborationStrengthen ties with other AAF disciplines, COA, and regional federations to share best practices, joint camps, competitions, and communication platforms. Actively contribute updates to the AAF's public communication channels. As per the appointment of the new AAF board, an SW liaison was appointed to be part of the AAF board, as to have an SW representative in the board, and also to make the communication lines between the federation and SW shorter.
The SWTC and the SW liaison actively work together with other disciplines when needed. Participate in sessions with COA, ASU, PAQ and AQUA were offfered and relevant. The lines of communication between the SWTC and the AAF EC are open and active. Implement. X

13Mental health and resilienceCollaborate with mental health professionals to deliver age-appropriate sessions on confidence, focus, and stress-management for athletes. Integrate wellness check-ins before and after competitions. Sporadically mental health sessions are offered. However, this should be structured, and, if possible, also subsidized. 15Improving coaching qualityOrganize annual coaching clinics and certification programs in collaboration with World Aquatics and PanAm Aquatics. The purpose is for the coaches to remain up to date with regards to the sport, new training methods based on international best practices, and also to obtain periodic refresher courses on necessary soft skills required when working with youngsters. When attending international competitions, coaches are offered clinics. However, these are not always attended fully. Include in its rules and regulations that coaches need to take at least 1 coaching related course per year. The type of course should be chosen together with the SWTC and daily board of club.
