On Thursday, November 7th, the student council will be hosting our 9th annual presidential town hall debates.

The two candidates running for the position of student council president are - Khaterina Tomasso, and Mary Trainor.

Grade 6 will see the debates live in the auditorium during period 5.

During period 7 - the 8th graders will view the debates live, while 7th graders will view the debates in their F.A.S.T. classrooms via the BMS livestream link.

The school will be casting their votes the following morning on Friday, November 8th during an extended HR.

Our BMS Field hockey team played in a tournament on Saturday. The girls won two and tied a third game to make it into the finals. We lost 1-0 in the finals in over time . It was truly a nail bitter. Great game girls. It was a pleasure to watch you all shine out there. An additional shout out to the 4 B team players who played for Lincoln School. Hey BMS, I am a 7th grade member of the BMS SAGA Club. You’ve probably heard that name before but for any new students or for 6th graders who may be interested in joining, I wanted to take a minute to share about our mission. We are an inclusive club, open to all adults and students passionate about people feeling like they have a place to be their true selves and belong and feel respected and connected. Our plan is not only to educate the BMS community but also to create a safe space here in BMS. Some of our plans include education around proper pronoun use, inclusive language, and ways to be better allies for the LGBTQ+.
