One of the great challenges of chamber choir rep. Used to be out of scope, but it's been at least a decade since I've looked at it, so will reappraise.

Many adore this, I know, but previously it has left me cold. I will look again... nope, still cold.

We did one piece from this a year ago, but missed out the others which are really great and uplifting

Perhaps a crazy suggestion - but Tin is one of the world's top composers for video games and some of the compositions are really great!

These have an awful lot in common with specific Whitacre pieces (Leonardo Dreams and Cloudburst respectively).

? Unlike most Dove this piece doesn't speak to me.

May not be everyone's cup of tea but I'm a shameless Whitacre fan and this is a particular favourite.

Much as I relish Howells, I'm not sure how this particular work fits in a concert.

Wonderful piece. Needs the most perfectly matched trio of immaculate sopranos. Might bring a few copies one day to investigate.

Always sounded to me like Stars but not as good.

tbh I don't think this (unlike the string version) works. Maybe with TCC one day.

We did these years ago. Elizabethan poems. They might combine nicely with a Love theme - Love is a sickness/Sigh no more ladies etc

I've never found pleasure in this set. Will look again... sorry still no!

Perhaps paired with the Brumel sicut lilium inter spinans which this is inspired by, or the palestrina setting

It's v sparse, so the tuning is exposed. Good piece though. Bored basses??

Relatively easy. Works and fits many programmes.

Fossils - includes Stegosaurus and T Rex / Giant feet/Breaking through the rocks. Saint-saens/ carnival of the animals - 2 part version also includes 2nd piece 'Aquarium'
