Resolved by replacing EXE's with the NoCD 1.4 patch from descent3.com (I had to use WinRAR to extract the files from the NoCD 1.4 self-extractor because running it directly would error.) Replace everything but extra.hog (the GOG version is much larger and replacing it will result in an incomplete game)Pentium IIIIf you have a 3dfx Voodoo card and want to play with the Glide API, delete glide.dll, glide2x.dll and glide3x.dll from game's main folder.
