39 | Calixste has a slender, near impossibly thin and lithe build, as is common for many humans after becoming sylph. He stands tall for a human and short for a sylph, but despite his height, his features are far more soft than intimidating. Beyond the fairly standard stature modification, the first of Calixste's altered traits would be his skin, a very light and soft shade of grey, just far enough from the standard sylvan albaster skin tone to be noticeable. The grey makes a perfect canvas for the light blue, bioluminescent markings that sweep across his body. They start at his heart, a chaotic gathering of curved lines forming the image of a sparrow in flight. From there, they curl out across his body, symmetrically sweeping, curling, spiraling, coving his entire body from the neck down, his body awash in a light blue glow. From the tops of his wrists sprout two patches of light grey feathers which curve back along his forearms in a tasteful accent, the only feathers to be found on his body, beyond those on his face. Moving to his face, the underlying features begin to betray the soft tone of his other features, his cheekbones raising, features sculpted with harsh lines, so as to remind of an avian. This is fitting, given the line of soft, grey feathers that sprout from his cheekbones, long enough to cover his ears, a light accent to his avian looks. His eyes are the fiercest part about him, scleras turned a stark black, his irises the same, glowing bioluminescent blue as his tattoos. Finally, his natural hair is pure white, combed back, the hair long enough to tickle the back of his neck. The clothing he wears is typically sleeveless to show off his tattoos, mainly in various combinations of whites, blacks, greys, and light blues, changing daily, as fashion dictates. | Link! | |||||||||

41 | Calixste's personality matches his appearance. Overall, he gives off a soft impression, but there's a level of severity hidden underneath. He has an overall kind and caring demeanor, the type of person who asks "How are you?" as a serious question instead of a standard greeting. However, in a very real sense, it's hard to escape from under his gaze. There's always something going on in his mind, observing, planning, scheming, attempting to puzzle things together, develop an ideal strategy. While his interest in people is genuine, it's difficult to feel like he isn't also using conversation as a way to gather more information to use at a later date. When a situation get rough, this second half comes out. Calixste is quick to take control in a situation, naturally assuming to be in control, which can cause some friction with those who don't like to be ordered around. He tries to work around this friction by proving his worth, but it doesn't always happen smoothly, but of course, he generally has a plan for when that happens to. Calixste's mind refuses to stop thinking, which can be a point of struggle for him. He wishes he could slow his mind down to relax, but he doesn't know how, often staying up late into the night as thoughts flow in his head. Still, he tries not to succumb to stress and fatigue, and simply work with and around them, but on occasion his frustrations catch up to him, when he can't quite handle any more. | Overall, what Calixste searches for in life is a challenge, mental stimulation. Luckily for him, he finds it in many places, having many interests, but he's always looking for a new puzzle to tackle. Not neccessarily a goal or a dream, but perhaps a curiosity? Calixste had a short term girlfriend around the time of the accident that had disappeared once he had woken up. He's always been curious about what happened to her, but not in a "I still love her" sort of way, just curiosity. |
