HOW TO ALLOW BAIL AFTER ARREST

Reminder: All of this is done ICly by the DAO, not the Arresting Officer beforehand. All the following is done via /b.

1- Request a plea from the suspect unless Required Case.

2- If the suspect is eligible for not guilty plea, proceed (5-Day Rule).

2- Check if the suspect is eligible for automatic bail for all charges.

4- Ask the suspect if he would rather pay bail, or bond.

3- Fine him the added amount of all of his charges.

6- If the suspect picks bond, charge him 10% only of the added amount of charges.

4- /fine the suspect the amount, with the reason being "BOND ON (Date)". (Must pay)

5- add a note in the AR at the bottom saying "John pays a BOND of $XX,XXX".

6- Do not scriptly arrest the suspect, just release them infront of the jail.

BAIL AMOUNT: ROR = RELEASE ON OWN RECOGNIZANCE / $0 BAIL.

AUTO-BAIL: YES = MUST MENTION IN /B IF NOT-GUILTY IS PICKED.

AUTO-BAIL: NO = ISN'T ELIGIBLE FOR AUTOMATIC BAIL.

AUTO-BAIL: DISCRETIONARY = UP TO THE DISCRETION OF THE OFFICER.

SETTING CONDITIONS REQUIRE A (DDAII+)'S OOC APPROVAL.

REACH A DDAII+ IF YOU WANT TO DENY AUTO-BAIL ON A 'YES' CHARGE.

ANY CHARGE FROM A CK SITUATION ISN'T ELIGIBLE FOR AUTO-BAIL.

IF SOMEONE COMMITS AN OFFENSE WHILE ALREADY ON BAIL, THEY CAN'T GET A BOND.
