Welcome to the Carbon Removal Glossary. Herein we seek to provide a comprehensive and self-consistent set of definitions covering all things carbon removal.

We have drawn on existing definitions from a number of authoritative bodies, suggesting adaptations, amendments or substitutes where we feel these are appropriate - for example for terms that are used or understood slightly differently in the context of carbon removal.
