In 2020, we at Cavalry have implemented an ESG (Environmental - Social - Governance) policy. This policy first and foremost applies to our own operations, but also includes our pledge to increase the level of transparency and support our portfolio companies in this regard.

Goal of questionnaire

With this annual questionnaire, we aim to get an overview of how ESG topics are being handled at our portfolio companies and track the according developments over time.

All data collected will in detail only be used internally, we will not share any details on a per company level with anybody outside of Cavalry. We might use anonymized data for external communication though.

Please answer all questions truthfully – there are no wrong answers.

In the "Questionnaire" tab you will see questions in 5 different sections:

A. HR
B. Environment
C. Data security
D. Financials
E. Miscellaneous

All questions should be answered based on the past calendar year.

Questions that require an answer are marked by a red box. If you provide an answer, the field will automatically turn green. Depending on your input, additional fields might pop up to be answered as well (highlighted again in red).

Please have a look in column C for the expected answer type:

# - number/quantity (e.g. "15")
€ - amount + currency (e.g. "7,500 EUR")
% - percentage (e.g. "18.5%")
Y/N - yes/now from a dropdown menu
Text - open text field
