| Buyer | Can you talk about your previous experience with the real estate market? | When was the last time you bought/sold property? | When was the last time you looked at available houses? | Scenario 1: Initial Setup and Onboarding | Scenario 2: Realtor Match | Scenario 3: Explore Dashboard | Scenario 4: Choose and Bid on a Property | Would you recommend this product to a friend or family member? | Is there anything missing from this product that you expected from the explanation that was given? | Is there anything additional you would like us to know? | Is there anything you would like to ask?
| Lisa | Bought and sold multiple residential properties within the last 10 years | August 2021 | Would explore the homepage and use the "Get Started" link in center of page instead of sign up button at top; liked the joint account option; wording on timeline screen is confusing (currently says budget); | realtor match makes sense; where do you see your matches? | dashboard is laid out really well; interesting take on bidding; everything is very clear; the time of day would determine how i would contact my realtor. during business hours or if it wasn't like, nine o clock at night, i would chat. i'd probably text instead of chat, but if i had to choose between chat and email, i would chat. likes the link with google calendar. scheduling call is fairly straightforward. | like the property valuator feature; property detail is very descriptive and includes all relevant information; likes the bidding, not sure if she would use it | would be more comfortable if recommended to her by realtor, or if realtor they liked were already using this product | an app with notifications so you can chat or text your realtor/person through that in addition to the website product. | your tasks are generally all over the place, but this consolidation is really nice. the idea of giving the seller a plan is also helpful. overall looks great. the language is cute. it looks clean but professional at the same time.
| Will | Bought a residential property within the last 5 years; communicated with my realtor mostly through email. then, if it was a hot property or time sensitive, we would text or call. but if there was no urgency, I would email. | tagline about avocado toast is funny and a clue to me that this is something aimed at someone like me (an elder millennial). I'm attracted to the "buyer/explore" button because i think real estate people like to snoop to be like 'whats my neighbors house worth, what's my house worth, etc'. From my experience, if you click this (get started button), it takes you further than you want to go. At this point, if you want my email, I have to be committed to go further. If this were a casual, I'm just bored this afternoon, I would stop because I don't want spam emails. I probably wouldn't enter my phone number bc I don't want you to call me. | So, when he said match me with a realtor I was expecting it would be things like meet JESSICA JESSICA specializes in this neighborhood. All I really did here was give you information without getting any information in return. And that makes me think this is just going to spit out a realtor who paid money to be matched with people like me like a realtor who said okay you're a lead generation machine. | Concerned about credit report being there and state of digital security within product; wants the bids to be a bit larger; doesn't like seeing the lost bids (negative connotation and makes them sad); likes the team of people -- makes it feel more personal and less like he's giving money to a random person; Highlighting overdue tasks in red is helpful bc it's eye catching; would use email over chat feature (doesn't like chatting in general) -- doesn't trust chat feature; would assume it's an assistant or an in between person, not realtor; would be more likely to email or call Seeing the realtors calendar feels like I'm their assistant; I want a little more hand holding from my realtor and assurance that they can work around my schedule, if needed; seeing 'schedule a call' feels like lead generation and a gimmick to get my information the chat feature hidden behind a login feels like a less efficient email inbox | doesn't take the property valuator seriously; just an algorithm enjoys seeing the place in bidding; wants to be leading bidder unsure of what a minimum bid would be needed for, or if it would just be the sale price; seeing "turn on bidding notifications" on more than one screen is confusing -- would rather just see it once | very skeptical (generally) about things that involve entering personal information online unsure if he would use it unless it was recommended by a realtor they trusted as a good platform | I think that some of the interactivity doesn't function the way I expected - I assume that if I clicked the button, it would change color. would expect that this platform would be more advantageous to the seller than the buyer; fully expect that it wouldn't work well for both sides since their needs are so different | My real estate agent helped me with things like not to be distracted with cosmetic changes, because I could change them myself. And he helped me understand how much I could afford, and that I actually *could* afford a house (and not just a condo). He did not like zillow because the information on zillow was out of date, according to him. Likes the clean and minimal look; it looks expensive and tasteful, but it's visually pleasing and attractive interface. It's not noisy and that's good -- if a website has flashing banner ads, I can't leave fast enough.
| Ally (24) | Bought recently, had a realtor. Didn't have any hiccups, the process was smooth and the realtor was great! | Bought in July 2021 | July 2021, until we signed our condo | Love overall the design, clean and classy but also fun! Good onboarding, super easy to move through and isn't overwhelming. Would add a privacy policy or some kind of statement the person would have to check off though | Nice simple process! (also got stuck on the screen after answering the last realtor matching question) The snapshot details you see once you have your matches are nice to see. Doesn't understand much about the purpose of the certifications column as they don’t have knowledge on that but do realtors have multiple certifications? Maybe switch it out for a list of neighborhoods serviced or a quote of one of their reviews if not? | This is really nice, it lays everything out for me and I feel like it would be easy to find exactly what I need or see what I need to do. But would the realtor be helping me with next steps in the process too and I wouldn't just be blindly following the to-do list myself? I like the chat and scheduling a call feature, very straightforward. I'm just starting the process of becoming a realtor but I don’t know if I'd really want to have my clients to have access to view my full calendar -- it kind of feels like a bit of an invasion of privacy almost … maybe just show my busy times w/ no info or if I'm out on vacation or something? | I really like the information screen, it’s laid out so nicely! The only thing that I may not trust the property value square too much, it’s cool info to have in your backpocket but I don't think anyone would base their offers off of it, I wouldn't. Bidding is cool, I’d want to see the house beforehand though and walk through the process with my realtor of putting an offer on a house. I don't want to just put a bid down willy nilly -- what if I become locked in and it’s for a house I don't even really want? | Probably, it seems easy enough and a nice way to organize everything. Plus if you're a realtor it may be an easier way to find clients
| Tessa (25) | Bought recently, looked into other houses since but never went through & also had some bad experiences with realtors. The realtor she first worked with was "super sketch" and the first house they wanted to put an offer on ended up falling through so they had to work with a different one. | Bought in Spring 2020 | We're always looking, most recently was a lake house during the summer but that fell through. (Her & her husband are currently building a new construction home and are planning on selling the home soon) | Really love the design and color scheme of the homepage. Love the avocado toast tagline, so cute and funny! A little confused on the purpose of the buttons on the 3 tiles when you would still need to log in. Also for the buyer tile it says “get started” then right underneath there's a button for “get started” again. Are all of these buttons needed if there's login and signup buttons in the navigation? The onboarding process is very clear and simple, nothing to note here. | Likes that this info part shows consistency with the sign up part of the site! (We got stuck on the screen after the last realtor matching question, suggested to consider adding text/graphic/gif of it showing the program is currently working on matching). The matches are displayed really well, a lot of important details without being cluttered! Is “select realtor” supposed to lead to the “more information” screen? If I didn't care much about knowing more about my realtor then I would just want to select them from their and move on without being directed to the more info screen | This dashboard is super cool! I like all of the details on the left strip and the 4 tiles of info. Team info is nice, I guess I don't really understand the notifications probably just because nothing's there right now. Also seeing all of that info on the calendar is a little overwhelming, is that the realtor’s calendar or mine? Why would I need to see the realtor’s calendar? Chatting & scheduling a call are both simple and straightforward, I like those features! | Oh cool how the detail pops out like that! The detailed page is very well organized, it’s a lot of information but nothing feels overwhelming! I like the box that says the property value, it reminds me of zestimates on zillow. Confused on the one-time bid and max bid text boxes. Shouldn't it just be one text box for the bid? And if your bid gets outbid you’ll just bid again?? The ending screen is cute, doesn’t’ like that it goes from the bid placing overlay to a new page though, maybe it could look better if this congrats message stayed in the overlay and when you close it, you can see that you placed a bid on the details screen by the price or something? | Yes if the realtors on there are good and I can tell it helped with my process

| Seller | Can you talk about your previous experience with the real estate market? | When was the last time you bought/sold property? | When was the last time you looked at available houses? | Scenario 1: Initial Setup and Onboarding | Scenario 2: Realtor Match | Scenario 3: Contact Realtor | Scenario 4: Build Listing Page | Would you recommend this product to a friend or family member? | Is there anything missing from this product that you expected from the explanation that was given? | Is there anything additional you would like us to know? | Is there anything you would like to ask?
| Stacy | Bought and sold residential homes and a rental property | Bought - 2019 Sold - 2020 | 2019 | First instinct was to click on the "list your property" under seller instead of sign up. Once on the sign up flow everything went smoothly. No confusion and like the ability to sign up as a joint account | On the "how much is your home worth" page said that "it usually the realtor prices your home and sometimes people over value their home" also was not sure how accurate she'd have to be and how it would help select the realtor. Wanted to know more about the realtor's philosophy behind stage a house i.e. "are they going to make you spend a ton of money to redo everything" | Was confused on how to contact the realtor because she felt they usually contact you first. Also noted that the "my team" didn't make sense since the realtor usually manages the inspector and legal "It seems as though I have to manage them". Suggested displaying a hierarchy to show that the realtor is the main point of contact. | Was confused by the language of "Build Listing page" since that is what you are paying the realtor for. Like that it auto filled the information but didn't feel it necessary to upload photos. | Yes, she thought it was a great concept and that everything could be found in one place. Did mention that some of the language was a bit unclear especially for a first time seller | Overall liked the dashboard but felt that their needed to be more info on what the realtor is supposed to take care of | Loved how easy everything was to read and how cleaned things looked
