Please note:
4
Unless otherwise specified, the default value of a field will always be NULL. Many brands do not make all information available, so it is crucial to have your application properly handle a null result to avoid displaying the text "null" to the end-user.
5
6
NULL values and Zero:
7
If a field contains null, that means the value of that nutrition attribute is unknown. Most diet tracking apps will have to attribute a value of ZERO to any null fields.
8
9
Fields marked with BETA in description are not supported in any way. Use these fields at your own risk .
10
11
Fields Subject To Change:
12
For any parsing scripts or client libraries, please make sure that it references the fields by name, and not order. These fields may change based on improvements to our data, though we have no plans to make any changes to future naming or ID conventions for these fields.

14
Serving Unit / Serving Unit Qty
15
Not all items will have a serving unit listed. In your app, we recommend having a failsafe setting on your view that designates IF nf_serving_unit_qty == null OR nf_serving_unit_name == null, display "1 Serving" as the default.
16
17
Always check the change log before running a sync!
