N/A in store . Boulevardier & Negroni sku at empty shelf . No sku for Manhattan.

- too sweet - I like whiskey straight - never heard of Manhattan, or Negroni, or Boulevard irrespective
-what are bitters? - it's ok but it has too much going on as far as flavors go - it's good. Will buy it another time. I'm here for tequila

Store traffic was steady but most shoppers were in the store to purchase tequila. They would come into the store and go straight into tequila aisle. Most Shoppers wanted to sample Casa Mexico tequila instead of Barrelsmith. They would tell me they are here for tequila.
Only one person out of everyone I offered a sample knew what Manhattan is, or Negroni. No one heard of Boulevardier. Many were asking me what bitters are.
Couple of people that sampled told me they will come back and purchase at a later date.

“That’s a strong bang for your buck!”
“That doesn’t even taste like gin”
“I love that I can grab and go with this”

Boulevardier was already sold out when I came in, one Manhattan was left, and it was the first thing that I sold. I did not tell people that they were drinking gin until after they tasted it and sold more.
Whenever someone hears the word gin, they think Bombay sapphire and immediately don’t drink. This cocktail is so nicely made that I just had their tastebuds think for them first before I told them it was Gin.

The Manhattan is amazing. Too pricey!

Sliw evening! Mist came in for beer or tequila tonight.

Customer like the product and some of them they took a picture of it. They say we’ll get it next time.

I just wanna say something about today. It was good for me because I was only person who is sampling there which is that help a lot selling seven bottle because usually when there is more people sampling it’s affect the sell

There was a mix of reactions to the drink. Some people really enjoyed it, others thought it was too sweet or too strong.

The one with the most negative reviews was the Negroni.

Very easy to drink Negroni. Some customers had never even heard of the cocktail or tried it before.

Good time and location for tasting. Low inventory.

Great product but too expensive

Really slow day. One other sampler sampling Koala Rum

People chose to only sample the manhattan this evening (did try my best to get them to try more but they weren’t budging tonight!) They were pleasantly surprised that I had the cherries and orange option for them to try as well as they don’t usually get to sample a “Real cocktail” …. I was told how amazingly smooth it was, no harshness and how balanced it was. They were all mostly impressed with the whole backstory of Barrelsmith (and you’re correct; they love Martha Outlaw and the fact she made her own liqueur!! Found this detail very cool) Of course the taste it was sealed the deal but another thing I noticed helped closing the sales was the fact they were able to keep it displayed at home after being opened unlike all other “RTD’s” that have to be finished or thrown out after being opened….. All in all this demo went on without a hitch and can’t wait for the chance to do again!!! Oh and I can’t forget to mention that I actually did have one woman who had already been lucky enough to have sampled Barrelsmith before and she told me she was highly impressed and still has her bottle at home 😊

Was extremely crowded tonight with 4 demos going on in the small designated sample area of the store (I think we got turned down a lot because they might’ve been a bit overwhelmed with all of us greeting and offfering samples at once right as they entered the store 😬) Slow foot traffic and so not too many customers decided to even try much this evening… luckily the few that did loved the product !!! Was a super fun demo and would love to do again !
