2 | This workbook contains our (SoGive's) cost-effectiveness analysis for deworming charities (Deworm the World, END Fund, SCI Foundation, and Sightsaver), adapted from GiveWell's model. Our model relies heavily on GiveWell's analysis, and should be considered their work unless SoGive's contribution is specifically highlighted in the text or notes. Cost-effectiveness is one factor we use to assess which opportunities are the highest-priority to support. We also consider other factors such as urgency, quality of implementation, and more. On the "Moral weights and discount rate" sheet, we've included our estimates, GiveWell estimates, and conventional estimates for a few parameters. If you'd like to see how our results would change based on different inputs for these parameters, you can make a copy of this spreadsheet and enter your own values in the "Anyone" column.
