Due to the way I propose speed is calculated in eve there is only a steady state for the orbit distance, while the speed will always vary slightly. This can clearly be observed ingame.

The testing methodology is that the orbit is set and waited until the Distance in between the ships does not change anymore. Then the speed is observed. It should be noted that the speed changes in a sinusodal pattern at the start, so with rounding it can hover at a value for a few ticks. This might not be the final speed reached, so be careful there.

All ship stats are noted as they are given during the test in the fitting window. This ensures that there are no Skill related deviations in the results

Tests were performed mostly at really close orbits as these are the areas of interest. For ranges >10km the measurements also loose a lot of accuracy as the game only reports data to the kilometer

Ship Radii should not be Confused with Signature Radii. Ship Radii are the constant size of the ship model. As the math works with points at the center of each ship we have to take these uinto account

Any Values noted with 1xx means that the numbers behind the 1 could not be clearly observed. So the Value could be anywhere between 100 and 199

k, a, b, c are internal values that made sense during the derivation of the original formula, these should not be of concern to you
