The goal is to start tracking your waste and learning if there are ways you can refuse, reduce and ensure you recycle right!

Objective:

To track and analyze the amount and type of waste generated in each room of your home over the course of one week.

This will help identify areas where waste can be reduced, reused, or recycled more effectively.

Use this waste audit tracking sheet for each room in your home (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, office, etc.).

Keep the tracking sheets and a pen in a convenient location in each room.

For one week, every time you dispose of an item, note it down on the tracking sheet for the respective room.

I recommend doing one room per day so you don't get overwhelmed.
