2/5/2025 11:51:22Yesthe lessons contained more information and this method allowed us adequate time to fully learn one topic without needing to wait a full week to finish the topic. We were able to do more in class assignments and share them with the class. It was also more convenient going to West Campus for longer periods but fewer times

It was really helpful to have to opportunity to fully engage and complete the PROF210 final project earlier in the semester rather than having it pushed aside to focus on other classes and final exams. There’s absolutely no reason for the content to be stretched over 24 weeks, a condensed schedule is much more efficient and allows us to cover the content effectively.

Additionally, I feel that 90 minutes compared to two hours didn't make much of a difference to me, so staying for an extra half hour at the end to not have prof after reading week is a plus. Also, the time it takes out of our day to come to the West (for those who live on the Main) is about an extra hour (if you take the bus and depending on where you live but for me it was 30 minutes both ways), it makes more sense to just get it over and done with.

2/5/2025 12:34:23YesI saw this as a positive change because it allowed us to get more work done in class. Instead of ending class at 10am and having to complete the Homework outside of class, we were able to get the majority of our work done in the extra half an hour. I also like how we end in mid February, as it opens up our schedule a little bit and gives us more time to focus on assignments and exams for other classes for the rest of the year.

Adding an extra 20 minutes to each class is a lot more beneficial than attending class for another two months, and since it doesn't affect or take away from course content, it would be great to continue for other PROF classes.

Additionally, it seemed to make the in-class time more productive as Jordan made sure to make the most of it. I feel as though I adequately learned everything I had hoped to in this amount of time. I wish all undergraduate PROF courses followed this schedule.

Once we were already there, having the full two-hour session felt more productive, and it made sense to finish the course earlier in February rather than dragging it out longer. This structure allowed us to make the most of our in-person time while avoiding the challenges of commuting in winter for an extended period.

Now with midterms coming up I am able to focus more effectively on my other classes while not having to worry about prof. The class ending early allows me to manage my time more effectively while not losing any of the knowledge from Prof class.
