All other candidates had free-standing signs or had laid them flat in the wind. The sign was not constructed and located in the image below in a fashion that the committee considered “freestanding and secured if necessary to prevent a safety hazard to the general publicThe candidate placed the originally free-standing board out of the way of students and other people frequenting the Brickyard when winds were extreme. The board was moved with the safety of the student body in mind, and the candidate exercised a good faith effort to follow the rules.
