POST CONSTRUCTION CLEANING CHECKLIST

Use this checklist as a means of tracking all the cleaning tasks of your project. Not all items will apply to your project. Those that don't, check N/A.

Sweep and wash all sidewalks, driveways and patios

Power wash walls and building trim

Cleanout gutters and downspouts

Clean exterior lighting fixtures

Sweep and wash the roof

INTERIOR CLEANING ACTIVITIES

Remove dust, scuff marks, and residual paint drips from walls, baseboards, and trim

Vacuum, mop, and remove stains from flooring
13
Remove stickers, labels, and protective films from windows, frames, and sills
14
Clean windows, frames, and sills
15
Wipe down doors, frames, and hardware such as hinges and locks
16
Clean cabinets and shelves both inside and out
17
Remove duct, debris, and packaging materials from cabinets and shelves
18
Remove adhesive residue or protective films from coutertops and sinks with appropriate cleaner
19
Clean all appliances, including stovetops, ovens, refrigerators, and dishwashers
20
Remove protective films or labels from all appliances
21
Clean and remove dust or debris from light fixtures
22
Replace or clean air filters for HVAC system
23
Clean all air vents and grilles of any dust or debris for the HVAC system

Remove all construction debris and trash

Dispose of all hazardous materials properly
