Copywriting on websitewebsite visitorsMake sure all the copy is well written, no spelling mistakes, eloquently putDo a podcast that is focussed on a specific topic and hear from board game superstarsShannon Kelly (oh yeah, I need to go do that)
3
Quarterly National Playtest SwapDesigners Once every three months (planned out and consistent) someone arranges a playtesting trade between wnyone that wants to send out for blind playtesting. The idea being you swap your prorotype with someone else and give each other constructive feedback. Designers benefit from blind playtesting by people they dont know. In rules and play.Idea added by Alex: We had someone doing this on a monthly basis, but I think it was a bit too often, would love someone to organise a quarterly one.
4
Mentorship ProgramDesigners / PublishersAn informal mentorship program where a member of the TGDA can be mentored by an experienced member in any area. Areas are not exhaustive and can include "design fundamentals", "launching a Kickstarter", "finding a publisher/distributor", "playtesting", "creating a website", "social media" etc. Ideally this would involve some small honorarium paid to the mentor, to encourage mentors to get involved but also to ensure the mentee values the relationship.Everybody needs help with some aspect of this process, and everybody has skills in other areas. Somebody who is primarily a designer might be able to mentor in art direction, while getting mentored in how to structure playtester feedback forms.Shannon Kelly, Wesley Lamont?, Allen Chang (can devote 1-2 hours a week to the program)

7
Talent listDesigners/ PublishersA list of people, companies or organisations that can help with certain aspects of game making- for example, 3D designers for game pieces or miniatures, Card graphic design, storywriting for games, etc.Allows deisgners or publishers to view and contact people with experience in or understanding of games to develop theirs.
Allows people interested in working on games to advertise their services directly to designers/publishers
It should be possible to rig an online submission form and place that on the website. The details of how to do that require web-based skills.
Chris Reynolds can organise the details of the form for the web people to post.
ALEX: We have a directory now, but it needs populating. Happy to have someone do it - volunteers ? -

Website Domain NameEverybodyInstead of hosting on sitelio.me, use funds to purchase TGDA.com and TGDA.com.auEasier to reference, link to, and send people to. More intuitive. More professional.ALEX: Sitelio was just the test, we will be going for the .org / ,au
11
International ConventionsDesigners/PublishersHave a booth at some international cons, such as Gen Con, BGG.CON or even Essen, etc. Run demos for designers that wouldn't otherwise be able to attend, get international publishers interested in signing games for localisation, indie publishers can sell their games, etc.Even Australia's largest board game convention PAX Australia has very little international involvement in the tabletop front. By bringing TGDA to them we can showcase the organisation and the quality games within it.ALEX: Definitely part f the big plan already - but this is something we need funds for
12
DesignersA fun test, just to increase your design knowledge around the board game industry. Design / board game / publisher knowledge
