The purpose of this glossary is to define common derby vocabulary found in THIS IS ROLLER DERBY and other curriculum documents. We have organized the sections in six categories:

Please note that some examples show skaters who are not in full safety gear. We do not recommend you skate without full protective gear, as described in the WFTDA Risk Management Guidelines.
